Original Skin is proud to have Dr. Dee Martinez as our Medical Director and member of our team. Dr. Martinez has been practicing medicine in Texas for nearly 30 years and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Radiology with certification in Diagnostic Radiology. He earned his medical degree from the Joe R. and Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine located at the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio in May 1992. He continued on to complete his residency here in Dallas at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. Passionate about the aesthetics field, Dr. Martinez is an experienced medical aesthetics injector and laser provider. He brings his knowledge and expertise in the cosmetic field to Original Skin, providing patient safety, protocols, training, and a direct line of communication for our staff.

Nicki Feltz, RN, BSN

Nurse Injector

Nicki grew up in Omaha, Nebraska and made her way to Texas to attend nursing school at TCU in Fort Worth. Upon graduating, she worked in a hospital as an oncology nurse for 2 years. Although she deeply enjoyed caring for these patients, she has always had a passion for aesthetics and decided to pursue this full time. 

Nicki loves connecting with patients and taking the time to get to know their aesthetic experiences and goals. She believes education and comprehensive consultations are the key to achieving her patients’ desired outcomes. 

Janet Bernal, BSN, RN

Nurse Injector

Janet was born and raised in El Paso, Texas where she attended the University of Texas at El Paso and obtained both a bachelors degree in biology as well as a bachelors of science in nursing. She started off her nursing career in her hometown but after a year decided to move to a bigger city. She has been an ICU nurse for 8 years.

Janet decided to pursue her passion for aesthetics two years ago when she became trained in dermal fillers, neurotoxin, and prp amongst other things. She is looking forward to working with you to come up with a customized treatment plan to enhance your natural beauty. (Se habla español)

Katie Crenshaw

Licensed Medical Esthetician & Professional Laser Technician

Katie is a licensed medical esthetician and professional laser technician at Original Skin in Plano, Texas. She is passionate about helping patients achieve their aesthetic goals while finding the right blend of the latest treatments, time-tested methods, and at-home skincare regimens. Katie finds joy in all parts of her work, but she simply adores reviewing before and after pictures with her patients so she can share in celebrating their results. With each treatment, Katie also seeks to educate her patients and expand their skincare knowledge for prolonged health and results.

Katie brings 7 years of experience in a variety of clinical settings including plastic surgery and dermatology. She is proficient in the use of many different lasers and cosmetic modalities. When not at Original Skin, Katie enjoys cooking, creating her own recipes, and going dancing.
